Another choice for art supplies

Good question. What we're referring to here is what most people call "fine arts" -- painting, sculpture, drawing, graphic design, etc. But we know that we're not aware of every single type of arts program out there, so we can't provide a comprehensive list of what does and doesn't constitute "art school."

In the end, if you think there's some reason to doubt that we'd consider your program "art school," just explain in your essay why you think it is. We're reasonable and unprejudiced with respect to different types of art -- just make your case, and your application will likely be considered along with everyone else's.

Exceptions? We're certain that at least a dozen people will write us and tell us they're in a liberal arts program, or they attend a liberal arts college. Sorry -- that's not what we're after here. If this describes you and it's your only reason for inquiring about this scholarship, then this one isn't for you. The good news is, there are plenty of other scholarships you're eligible for.
