Good question. The Law Enforcement Scholarships were created for students pursuing careers in police work, corrections, and other criminal justice fields. This also includes areas like child support enforcement, probation and parole officers, child protective services, etc. We know that we're not aware of every single type of law enforcement education program out there, so we can't provide a comprehensive list of what does and doesn't constitute "law enforcement."

In the end, if you think there's some reason to doubt that we'd consider your program "law enforcement," just explain in your essay why you think it is. We're reasonable with respect to different types of programs -- just make your case, and your application will likely be considered along with everyone else's.

Exceptions? This scholarship does not apply to law school students -- we already have a special scholarship for that..
