Past Due Bills? We can help!

1. Can anyone apply for the Get Out of Debt Scholarship?
The 2006-2007 Get Out of Debt Scholarships are open to anyone aspiring to attend a university, college, trade school, technical institute, vocational training or other post-secondary education program in the 2006-2007 academic year. In addition, eligible students may not have already been receiving or awarded a full-tuition scholarship or waiver from another source. International students are welcome to apply.

2. Can I mail or fax my application?
No, we are only taking submissions via the website. However, you don't necessarily need an email address to enter (if you do not have one, simply leave this field blank in the application), but be sure to include other contact information so that we can reach you if you win. The winner will be notified via postal mail and/or telephone.

3. What is the deadline?
Because we give four Get Out of Debt Scholarships per year, we are always accepting applications. Our application periods are as follows:

  • April 15 - July 15
  • July 16 - October 15
  • October 16 - December 15
  • December 16 - April 14.

4. How many scholarships are you giving away?
We now award four scholarships of $500 each year. That's one every four months, and the application periods are explained above.
